Happy New Year! It's my first blog post of 2010, and I thought I'd reminiscence the previous year a bit. 2009 was different, but overall a great year for me. I thought out of the box, pushed myself out of my comfort zone, accomplished things I'd never thought I'd do, and learned from my mistakes. I grew alot as a person in 2009, and I'm grateful for that.So what are the my highlights of 2009? Let's see... There was the New Years party I threw on January 1, 2009! Then Seussical, the first musical I've ever really participated in at the Barn Theater. (Monkeys and birds!) There was the amazing Porterville Fair. (Woo!) I threw Michelle a birthday party/sleepover in May. Th
en came summer, with Rob's birthday... 4th of July fireworks... and my birthday. Our mini roadtrip through Cali came after that... traveling through L.A., Santa Monica, and up the coast to San Luis Obispo and Hearst Castle. The Apple Festival... Halloween- hanging out with Mary in the cornmaze and the Halloween party. That's when I got my first job, working for Target. After that came Thanksgiving with my intire extended family. Next I graduated highschool and got a second job working for Hoagies Heroes (take that unemployment rate!). Then there was Christmas dinner with my family. Other than a few Twlight/New Moon related events with my crazy friends (don't you dare laugh), some outtings with the Seussical kids, birthday parties, and watching Jackie give birth for the first time ever (ouch), that's pretty much the short version of how my 2009 went.
