Wake Up In The Morning Feelin Like PDiddy (Not Really)

Today is the second day I have had this blog. I spent the whole day in angst thinking about what important and interesting topic I would discuss for my second blog post ever... "I've gotta keep my readers coming back for more, I've gotta keep things cutting edge and intriguinging," I think to myself as I wipe wilting lettuce off the dirty table at Hoagies Heroes. "But what to write... ? Hmm. Definately not something stupid like what I got for Christmas." And now, here I am writing my second blog ever. I've figured out what topic to discuss as well. Brace yourself; I'm gonna talk about what I got for Christmas. Blaow! You didn't see that one coming. (Plus there's gonna be pictures, you can't leave now.)

Welp. Let's start with clothes. No, no wait. Let's start with money. I got money from my grandparents, my other grandparents, and my parents. Now clothes. I bought most of the clothes with the money I got from my elders. (But, being a responsible young adult, I have also saved some of the money.) I also recieved a lovely little Urban Outfitters tshirt from my cousin Ashley as well.

There were more articles of clothing gifted to me but these really are my favorites... plus I didn't take any pictures of the other articles of clothing because I couldn't find any of them in the mess I call my room. I was surprised to find only one book in the pile of gifts I recieved this year. It was intitled The Book of Totally Useless Information. Which was perfect for me, seeing as I am the totally useless information queen. In fact, I was just explaining to some of the girls at work today how in certain eastern countries the male will partake in a ceremony immediately after his wife has given birth, in which he eats a piece of freshly birthed placenta. It is believed by the peoples who practice this ritual that the mother is connected to the child by the womb, and by eating a piece of the womb the father can be as well. And why did you need to know that little fact? You didn't! It is totally useless information! And that is exactly why this book is perfect for me. It's going right next to the Snapple Fact book on my book shelf.

Along with the clothes I bought, I also bought a watch and a necklace. They were definately morrocan themed in style and color, plus I got the necklace for 50% off-score! I recieved some pretty cute socks and gloves in my stocking which I adored of course, because I bought the stocking stuffers and stuffed the stockings myself this year. My aunt/uncle/cousins gave me the awesome wallet that I'm already wearing out and I definately needed. I got some perfume, jewelry, more clothes, ect. Rob got me a wooden jewelry box and a handmade bracelet from Green Goddess, the most awesome store ever. They are definately my favorite presents too (probably because I picked them out). My mom got me this Tazo Tea box, which is totally scrumdidilyumptious. You see, every year Tazo comes out with a new tea box for the holiday season and every year my mom gets me one. I sorta have this Tazo Tea fetish, plus you can use the tea boxes for cool stuff once the tea bags actually run out.

I am proud to say that this year I was able to buy presents for all of my immediate family and all of my cousins. I also stuffed the stockings, baked/made gift baskets for the adults in my family, and decorated the Christmas tree all by myself. Ok, so maybe that last one makes me sound like a loser but, hey, all in all it was a good Christmas for me. Spending time with loved ones and old friends, and the joy of giving (and *cough cough* getting). To all of you I didn't get the chance to say it to before, Merry (late) Christmas and lots of love.
